I have been honored to receive four awards from some sweet blog friends. I have not been prompt in passing them on. This is always hard for me because I enjoy so many of your blogs. However, even though I am a week late for my "First Wednesday Awards" deadline, I will pass these along today.

Meme at A Weeping Widow lost her husband a short while ago. She writes the most amazing and touching posts as she documents her journey as her life goes on without him. Her grief is evident as she talks about her beloved husband....but...her faith is strong and her outlook is positive. Read her blog and you will see why reading it touches my life.

Jan at The Fast Track is another blogger that touches my life. Jan calls her blog "The Fast Track" because she is dying. However her posts are not full of self pity or anger. They are full of happy times she spends with her little niece, Darien and other family members. She is documenting these experiences so Darien will have something to remember her by. It is very touching.
